ANDREW IVES

OWNER & PRESIDENT / CHIEF OF SECURITY

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Chf. Ives relocated to North Carolina in 1997 and has dedicated his career to public safety, law enforcement, and private security leadership.

He graduated from Buffalo State College with a degree in Criminal Justice and went on to serve as a Police Officer with UNC Charlotte for four years. He also spent six years working as a Security Officer and Youth Counselor at Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center.

In addition to his civilian experience, he served in the North Carolina National Guard as a First Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps and is a proud Veteran of the United States Army.

In 2005, he founded Harrisburg Security, Inc., building the company on the principles of professionalism, integrity, and dependable protection. With decades of combined law enforcement, military, and security experience, he continues to lead H.S.I. with a strong commitment to client safety and operational excellence.

CHRIS LILE

OFFICE OPERATIONS MANAGER

  • Originally from Fairfax County, Virginia, Mr. Liles relocated to the Charlotte, North Carolina area in 2002 and has since built more than 20 years of experience in the private security industry.

    In 2013, he joined the Harrisburg Security, Inc. main office, bringing valuable operational and administrative expertise to the company. Prior to joining H.S.I., he served as a Compliance Agent and Notary with G4S and held the position of Lieutenant with Securitas.

    With a strong background in security operations, compliance, and leadership, he remains committed to professionalism, accountability, and exceptional client service.

STEPHEN THOMAS

WATCH COMMANDER / LIEUTENANT

A North Carolina native, Lt. Thomas has dedicated more than 20 years to the private security industry, bringing extensive field experience and professionalism to Harrisburg Security Inc.

He began his career in private security as an Armed Officer in 2002 and joined Harrisburg Security, Inc. in 2006. Since then, he has continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and client protection throughout his career.

DAVID COOK

WATCH COMMANDER MANAGER / CAPTAIN

A North Carolina native and Veteran of the United States Air Force, Capt. Cook brings more than 30 years of experience in the private security industry to Harrisburg Security Inc.

He joined Harrisburg Security, Inc. in 2005 after serving in several leadership roles throughout his career, including Senior District Manager with Security Forces, Inc. and Chief of Security at Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center.

His extensive background in security operations, leadership, and personnel management reflects a long-standing commitment to professionalism, safety, and client service.

Joseph Rhodes

ACCOUNT MANAGER / LIEUTENANT

A North Carolina resident since 2006, originally from East Orange, New Jersey, Lt. Rhodes brings extensive leadership and security experience to Harrisburg Security Inc.

He began his career with H.S.I. as an Armed Security Officer in 2023 and was promoted to Account Manager in 2025. Prior to joining H.S.I., he proudly served in the United States Navy from 1983 to 1987.

He also holds a bachelor’s degree in project management, further supporting his strong background in leadership, operations, and client relations.
